1. Euclid’s Division Lemma
For any two positive integers a and b, there exist unique whole numbers q and r such that:a=bq+r
Where:0≤r<b
- a = Dividend
- b = Divisor
- q = Quotient
- r = Remainder
2. HCF and LCM Relationship
For any two positive integers a and b:HCF(a,b)×LCM(a,b)=a×b
